Dell USA L.P. is seeking a Senior Advisor, Legal Counsel at its Round Rock, Texas facility.
Duties:
Review, analyze, and negotiate international sales agreements, incorporating international business practices, intellectual property, resellers, and commercial contract law. Lead agreement negotiation for the sale of information technology hardware and software products and services, including outsourcing, managed and professional service engagements, and the resale of third-party products and services. Draft and negotiate a wide range of commercial and public sector customer agreements. Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Finance, Legal, Tax, and Services teams to ensure that agreements adequately protect company interests. Review and provide guidance on terms and conditions contained in RFPs and sales proposals.
Requirements:
Juris Doctor degree plus five (5) years of experience in legal, contracts, commodity management, or similar occupation.
Requires experience:
providing legal counseling for the IT industry in a law firm or in-house legal department setting; negotiating large, complex deals involving technology transactions in domestic and international sales contracts; commercial contracts and legal principles associated with the sale of technology products and services; and negotiating software, hardware, or services contracts, including as-a-service subscription contracts.
