Job Overview Rockwall personal injury firm is looking for an experienced litigation/trial attorney to join our team with at least 2 years of litigation experience. We need an attorney who has good research skills, good writing skills, and one that can handle litigation files with minimal supervision. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated and competitive, and who is interested in building his/her own client base and helping the firm grow. We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Personal Injury Attorney to join our legal team. In this role, you will champion the rights of clients who have suffered injuries due to accidents or negligence, guiding them through complex legal processes with confidence and compassion. Duties Manage a diverse caseload of personal injury claims from inception through resolution, including negotiations, settlements, and litigation when necessary Conduct thorough legal research using LexisNexis, and other legal research tools to support case strategies Draft compelling legal documents such as pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and correspondence with clients and opposing counsel Advocate zealously for clients in negotiations and court proceedings to maximize compensation outcomes Attend mediations, depositions, hearings etc Maintain meticulous case files and documentation in compliance with law office procedures and ethical standards Skills Proven experience in personal injury law with a strong understanding of litigation processes and trial preparation Exceptional research skills utilizing Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other legal research platforms Excellent writing skills for drafting clear, persuasive legal documents and reports Strong negotiation abilities to achieve favorable settlements for clients Legal administrative experience including case management and client communication Proficiency with legal drafting software and familiarity with law office management systems Join us to be part of a vibrant team committed to delivering justice through energetic advocacy and expert legal service.
