The ideal candidate will have experience in both affirmative and defensive immigration cases and a strong commitment to immigrant rights. About Us We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Attorney to join our legal team. With a mission to provide compassionate, high-quality legal representation to immigrants and their families. We focus on family-based petitions, humanitarian relief (VAWA, U-visas, asylum), removal defense, and naturalization. Responsibilities Represent clients in immigration matters including [asylum, cancellation of removal, SIJS, VAWA, U-Visas, adjustment of status, naturalization, etc.] Prepare legal filings and appear before USCIS, EOIR, and other agencies as needed Conduct client consultations and build individualized case strategies Stay up to date with immigration law changes and policies Supervise and collaborate with paralegals and legal assistants
Qualifications and Skills:
J.D. and active license to practice law in any U.S. state 1-3+ years of experience in immigration law required Bilingual in English and Spanish Required Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills Excellent time management and organizational skills Empathetic communicator with a client-centered mindset Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while managing individual caseloads.
