In this pivotal role, you will provide expert legal counsel on a broad range of real estate matters, including property purchase and sale transactions, leasing, corporate and business matters. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in real estate and corporate law complemented by excellent drafting, reviewing and negotiation skills to navigate complex legal landscapes confidently and be able to work on things quickly and efficiently. Responsibilities Draft, review, and negotiate real estate contracts such as purchase agreements, leases, and financing documents. Draft, review, and negotiate corporate documents for various business deals. Communication effectively with clients and provide prompt service. Manage due diligence processes for property acquisitions and dispositions, including title review and lease analysis. Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders—such as brokers, developers, bankers, and title companies —to ensure smooth transaction processes. Prepare comprehensive legal documentation and reports that clearly outline risks and opportunities associated with real estate and corporate deals. Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction. Proven experience in real estate law and/or corporate fields. Excellent legal drafting abilities for contracts, memoranda, and correspondence. Effective negotiation skills to advocate for favorable terms while maintaining professional relationships. Prior experience working in a busy law office environment with strong organizational skills in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
