Job Summary Xavier Law Firm is seeking a highly motivated Bilingual Associate Attorney with 2-3 years of legal experience to join our team. This position is open to attorneys with experience in either family law or immigration law (removal defense) . Key Responsibilities Represent clients professionally in court, mediations, and legal proceedings Attend hearings and scheduled appearances Lead and support assigned legal team members Evaluate case details and develop legal strategies Conduct legal research and prepare pleadings, discovery, memoranda, and briefs Analyze complex legal issues and provide sound legal advice Prepare and file documents with courts and relevant agencies
Qualifications Required:
J.D. from an accredited law school Licensed to practice law in Texas Fluent in Spanish (preferred) Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a practicing attorneySkills & Abilities:
Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Strong legal writing and analytical abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research tools Ability to manage a high-volume caseload and meet multiple deadlines Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong client service orientation Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with carePreferred:
Experience working with trauma survivors (e.g., domestic violence, human trafficking, sexual assault) Demonstrated cultural competency and sensitivity Prior work with immigrant communitiesJob Type:
