With combined legal experience of more than 100 years, the attorneys of Jenkins Bagley Sperry, PLLC, of Utah, have been an effective ally for clients. Our team is skilled, knowledgeable and passionate about practice areas that include homeowners' association (HOA) law, real estate law, construction defects, estate planning, and business and civil litigation.
About the role:
We are seeking a Collections Account Manager for our dynamic and growing HOA collections practice. You will work with our current collections team as outlined below to provide the highest level of service to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting, collections and customer service background. This role requires attention to detail, and excellent organizational and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Draft/prepare legal documents, including demand letters, liens, pleadings, settlement agreements, and other correspondence, under the supervision of an attorney File legal documents with the appropriate court systems or agencies Communicate and negotiate via phone and email with delinquent owners Communicate via phone and email with clients, attorneys, management companies, and title companies to facilitate collections efforts Proofread and edit legal documents Research relevant statutes, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act requirements, and other legal sources Manage and organize client files and delinquent owner accounts Calendar and mange appropriate case deadlines Data entry
Job Details:
Full-time Monday - Friday In Person $18 - $21 an hour, depending on experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience with collections work is highly desired, but we will train the right candidate Paralegal degree or certificate Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
