Job Description

A well-established and growing organization in the real estate/title industry is looking to add a Settlement Attorney to their team. This stable and expanding group offers strong transactional volume, a collaborative environment, and the opportunity to work directly with real estate professionals and clients throughout the settlement process. Due to continued growth, there is an opportunity for a Settlement Attorney to join a highly experienced and motivated team.
Settlement Attorney Responsibilities:
Conduct residential and/or commercial real estate settlements Prepare and review deeds, contracts, powers of attorney, trust documents, and title abstracts Review land records and perform chain-of-title analysis Provide legal guidance to real estate agents and clients throughout transactions Assist in resolving title issues and claims Lead and present educational classes for real estate professionals Support additional legal matters related to real estate and title operations
Settlement Attorney Qualifications:
Active Virginia Attorney license (required) 3+ years of experience in real estate title and/or settlement work (required) Strong knowledge of real estate transactions, title review, and closing procedures Excellent communication and client-facing skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to manage multiple files in a fast-paced environment High level of professionalism and attention to detail
Settlement Attorney Compensation:
