Job Description

Established (100+ Years) Premier Firm Seeking Associate Attorney for Plaintiff Personal Injury and/or Workers' Compensation in Richmond, VAAn established Virginia-based firm with over 100 years in practice is seeking an Associate Attorney with plaintiff personal injury and/or workers' compensation experience to join its team in Richmond. This Attorney will work on plaintiff-side injury matters and will handle litigation, negotiations, and client representation in accordance with applicable laws and regulations while advocating for injured clients.
Offer:

Qualifications:
Possess 3-5+ years of plaintiff personal injury and/or workers' compensation experienceHold experience conducting discovery, taking and defending depositions, and preparing motions and pleadingsDemonstrate strong analytical, communication, and organizational skillsShow the ability to manage cases in a fast-paced and technology-forward environmentMaintain active Virginia Bar membership in good standing
Responsibilities:
Manage a caseload of plaintiff personal injury and/or workers' compensation matters from intake through resolution or trialConduct written discovery and take and defend depositionsPrepare motions, pleadings, and detailed case assessmentsRepresent clients in mediations, hearings, and trialCollaborate with senior attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to develop evidence-driven case strategiesMaintain consistent communication with clients to ensure exceptional service throughout the duration of their cases
