Job Description

Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Associate Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. This Junior Associate Attorney Position position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your legal expertise across a diverse range of practice areas, including family law, criminal law and traffic law . As a Junior Associate Attorney , you will support senior attorneys in conducting legal research, drafting documents, and assisting with client matters. This role is ideal for a proactive individual eager to grow their legal career in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. Duties Conduct comprehensive legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case preparation and legal analysis Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, contracts and correspondence with precision and clarity Assist in preparing for court proceedings, client meetings, and negotiations by organizing case files and summarizing relevant information Support attorneys in managing case workflows by maintaining accurate records of case developments and deadlines Participate in client consultations under supervision to gather facts and provide preliminary legal guidance Collaborate with team members on various projects related to estate planning, environmental issues, immigration processes, or litigation strategies Stay informed on current laws and regulations across multiple practice areas to ensure compliance and effective advocacy Qualifications Virginia State Bar member in good standing. though compelling candidates who have or will sit for the Virginia Bar Exam will be considered. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school or equivalent qualification required for admission to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction Demonstrated interest or experience in divorce, paternity, child support, modifications, enforcement, and injunctions Strong research skills. Excellent writing skills with the ability to produce clear and concise legal drafts Proven ability to analyze complex legal issues and develop strategic solutions through effective negotiation and advocacy techniques Prior legal experience is preferred but not required; a proactive attitude towards learning is essential Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail to manage multiple cases simultaneously This position offers a paid opportunity for aspiring attorneys committed to developing their skills across various legal disciplines. Pay:
$69,876.00 - $125,151.74 per year
