Job Description
Description We are looking for a skilled Attorney/Lawyer to join our team in Manassas, Virginia. Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee civil litigation cases, ensuring all aspects are handled with precision and a high standard of conduct.
- Draft motions, briefs, and other legal documents, maintaining accuracy and clarity.
- Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and provide expert advice.
- Facilitate discovery processes, including document production and depositions.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, negotiations, and mediations.
- Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to develop effective case strategies.
- Ensure all legal activities comply with applicable laws and regulations.
- Provide clear and timely communication to clients regarding case progress and outcomes.
- Stay updated on changes in legal practices and civil litigation trends. Requirements
- Must be a licensed attorney with authorization to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Demonstrated experience in civil litigation, including managing cases from initiation to resolution.
- Proficiency in drafting legal motions, briefs, and other essential documents.
- Strong knowledge of discovery processes and procedures.
- Excellent legal research and analytical skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
