Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Lawyer to join our legal team, dedicated to providing expert legal counsel and ensuring compliance across various business operations. In this role, you will leverage your extensive knowledge of law to navigate complex legal issues, support strategic initiatives, and uphold the highest standards of integrity. Your proactive approach and strong communication skills will empower our organization to operate confidently within the legal landscape, fostering growth and safeguarding our reputation. Duties Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and policies to ensure clarity, enforceability, and compliance with applicable laws. Provide expert legal advice on corporate governance, regulatory requirements, and risk management strategies. Conduct thorough research on relevant laws, regulations, and legal precedents to inform decision-making processes. Collaborate with internal teams to develop training materials and conduct workshops on legal compliance, ethical standards, and best practices. Manage litigation cases by coordinating with external counsel, preparing necessary documentation, and tracking case progress. Assist in the development of company policies related to intellectual property, employment law, data privacy, and other legal areas. Maintain organized records of legal documents, case files, and compliance reports for easy access and audit readiness. Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with valid licensure to practice law in relevant jurisdictions. Proven experience in corporate law, contract negotiation, or related fields with a strong understanding of legal procedures. Excellent project management skills to handle multiple cases and deadlines efficiently. Strong research abilities combined with exceptional writing skills for drafting clear legal documents and reports. Effective communication skills for presenting complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders. Familiarity with learning technology tools such as LMS (Learning Management System), SCORM (Sharable Content Object Reference Model), and instructional design principles like ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation & Evaluation). Knowledge of graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe Creative Suite for creating visual content when needed. Experience in training & development programs related to adult education or professional development is a plus. Classroom experience or teaching background that enhances your ability to convey legal concepts clearly. Proficiency in video editing and content development tools like Adobe Captivate for creating engaging training modules is desirable.
