Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our legal team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in the field of Medical Malpractice Defense. As an Associate Attorney, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive legal support to clients and internal teams. Your proactive approach and strong research and writing skills will help ensure the delivery of high-quality legal services in a fast-paced environment. This paid position is ideal for a motivated legal professional eager to develop professionally while making a meaningful impact. Responsibilities Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as LexisNexis to support case preparation and legal analysis. Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings and discovery correspondence, with precision and clarity. Taking and defending depositions Assist in managing client cases by preparing for hearings, depositions, and trial proceedings Maintain organized case files Collaborate with team members/partners to develop case strategies. Experience Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school; admission to the state bar is required. 0-4 years of experience preferred. Proven experience or internship in a law office setting involving legal research and drafting Strong interpersonal skills Strong writing skills with the ability to produce clear and persuasive legal documents Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently within a busy legal environment Excellent communication skills for effective client communication.
