Duties involve significant courtroom and trial work including plea negotiations, pretrial hearings, motion hearings, jury and bench trials, sentencing hearings and appeals. Additionally, the job includes providing advice to law enforcement officers during investigations and case review for filing determinations. Courtroom and criminal law experience is required as well as excellent research, writing, and analytical skills. The applicant must exhibit attention to detail and the ability to work professionally with attorneys and staff under pressure. We are looking for an individual with a true passion for public service and a self-starter who is comfortable with a high-volume caseload. Must be WSBA qualified.
