Job Description

Personal Injury Attorney Iddins Law Group Kent, WA Job Details Full-time $105,000 - $150,000 a year 22 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Retirement plan Qualifications Teamwork Law Legal writing Personal injury law Bar Pleadings filing assistance Full Job Description Who We Are We are a local, entrepreneurial, down-to-earth personal injury firm rooted right here in Kent. If you are tired of the stuffy, corporate "big firm" atmosphere, you will find our office incredibly refreshing. From our front-desk reception to our paralegals and attorneys, we are a warm, highly approachable, and genuinely collaborative team. Our everyday practice focuses on motor vehicle accident cases, but we are also uniquely equipped to handle high-stakes, complex wrongful death claims. We treat our clients like neighbors, not file numbers—and we treat our team the exact same way. Who We Are Looking For We want to hire a sharp, self-starting attorney licensed in Washington State with 1 to 3 years of personal injury experience. Beyond legal knowledge, we are specifically looking for someone who fits this description:
Great Bedside Manner:
Our clients come to us during some of the worst moments of their lives. You need to be a warm, empathetic listener who can explain complex legal concepts plainly, without sounding like a textbook.
A True Self-Starter:
Because we have an active litigation pipeline and do not currently have a dedicated litigation paralegal on staff, you will need to quarterback your own lawsuits. You must be comfortable rolling up your sleeves to handle your own drafting, formatting, scheduling, and electronic filings with minimal oversight.
Loyalty & Longevity:
We aren't looking for a mercenary or a short-term lateral jumper. We want someone who wants to find a professional home, build long-term relationships with our team, and grow with us for years to come.
The Operational Setup The Pre-Lit Shield:
You won't be drowned in administrative chaos. Our experienced pre-litigation team handles the heavy lifting (medical records, billing, and initial insurance negotiations) for our pre-lit files.
The Litigation Pipeline:
You will step in to take primary ownership of active litigation files.
The Case Dynamics:
Only about 10% of our files require formal lawsuit filings, and true jury trials are rare (~1%). The vast majority of your litigation work will be strategic "chess matches" involving motions, depositions, and driving cases to successful resolutions via mediation and arbitration. Requirements Active member in good standing with the Washington State Bar Association (WSBA). 1-3 years of personal injury practice (plaintiff or insurance defense). Ability to work on-site in our Kent office 5 days a week initially (we value face-to-face mentorship and real collaboration; future hybrid flexibility is negotiable down the road). What We Offer (Benefits Package)
Competitive Base Salary:
$105,000 to $150,000 (with room to negotiate based on experience).
Comprehensive Health Protection:
Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance.
Retirement Security:
Simple IRA with a company match.
Time Off:
Generous PTO accrual plan starting on your very first day.

100% firm-paid WSBA annual dues and continuing legal education (CLE) credits. How to
