We value teamwork, professionalism, and a supportive work environment. Our firm focuses on meaningful legal work across several intersecting areas, including Family Law, Protection Orders, Criminal Defense, and Title IX/School Law. We embrace efficiency and innovative work with a modern technology stack that includes the MS Office Suite, Google OneDrive, Adobe, and Clio. What You'll Do This is a full-time, in-office position located in the North Lake Union neighborhood of Seattle. As a vital part of our team, you will:
Draft Litigation Documents:
Prepare pleadings, protection orders, correspondence, and discovery notices, with a primary focus on family law matters.
Client & Witness Engagement:
Interview clients and witnesses to gather critical case information.
Professional Communication:
Act as a key point of contact for clients, courts, opposing counsel, and other professionals.
Research & Workflow:
Conduct legal research, track case workflows, and manage critical deadlines, including the scheduling of hearings, meetings, and mediations.
File Management:
Organize client files and perform related administrative tasks to ensure a seamless practice. What We're Looking For We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented paralegal who enjoys working closely with attorneys and clients alike.
The ideal candidate will bring:
Experience:
Minimum of two (2) years of Family Law paralegal experience.
Certification:
Paralegal certification with civil litigation experience in a private practice setting.
Legal Knowledge:
Strong working knowledge of court procedures and court rules (King County/WA State).
Skills:
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to support multiple attorneys and manage diverse matters simultaneously.
Communication:
Excellent attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills. Compensation & Benefits We believe in rewarding our team for their expertise and dedication.
