Estate Planning Attorney (Entry-Level)
Location:

Position Summary The Estate Planning Attorney is responsible for preparing, reviewing, revising, and finalizing estate planning documents that accurately implement each client's estate planning strategy. This role works closely with clients throughout the planning process, ensuring their goals are clearly understood, their questions are answered, and their estate plans are completed accurately and efficiently. This is an ideal opportunity for a newly licensed attorney or an attorney early in their career who is looking to develop expertise in sophisticated estate planning while receiving mentorship from an experienced legal team. What You'll Do Independently draft and review estate planning documents using WealthCounsel. Analyze client information and prepare customized estate planning strategies and documents. Meet with clients to review recommendations, explain planning strategies, and answer legal questions. Revise documents based on client feedback prior to signing. Guide clients and their professional advisors through implementation and estate funding. Manage workflows using Decision Vault, Lawmatics, WealthCounsel, Microsoft 365, and related software. Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and staff to ensure an exceptional client experience. Ensure all document deadlines are consistently met. Provide timely, proactive communication with clients and colleagues. Stay current on estate planning law, tax developments, and drafting best practices. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is: Passionate about Estate Planning Exceptionally detail-oriented Client-centered and relationship-focused A strong legal writer and communicator Organized and deadline-driven Collaborative and solutions-oriented Self-motivated with strong professional judgment Passionate about providing exceptional client service Required Qualifications Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school Active license in good standing in Arizona, Washington, or Idaho, with ability to be admitted to, at minimum, Washington and Idaho Newly licensed attorneys are encouraged to apply Strong legal writing and analytical skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Comfortable learning new legal technology platforms
Compensation & Benefits Starting Salary:
