Draft, review, and proofread legal documents such as pleadings, affidavits, discovery requests, and settlement agreements related to family law matters. Conduct legal research on family law statutes, regulations, and relevant case law to support case development. Interview clients, witnesses, and other parties to gather pertinent information for ongoing cases. Manage document review processes, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all case-related materials. Coordinate court filings and ensure compliance with procedural rules; handle filing via electronic systems when applicable. Provide administrative support such as data entry, scheduling appointments, answering phone inquiries with professionalism, and maintaining organized filing systems. Qualifications Proven paralegal experience with a focus on family law or related legal areas. Strong knowledge of legal research tools such as LexisNexis. Familiarity with legal administrative software, including Clio and Outlook. Excellent writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence. Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently. Experience with legal case management software and electronic filing procedures.
