Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Family Law Attorney to join our legal team. In this role, you will provide expert legal counsel and representation in family law matters, including divorce, child custody, visitation, adoption, and domestic violence cases. Your energetic approach will help clients navigate complex legal processes with confidence and clarity. You will leverage your strong negotiation skills and comprehensive knowledge of family law to advocate effectively for clients while maintaining a focus on compassionate service. Candidate Requirements:
2+ years of Family Law experience JD required Active Washington Bar license in good standing Represent clients in family law proceedings, including hearings, mediations, and negotiations Draft and review legal documents such as petitions, motions, settlement agreements, and court pleadings Conduct thorough legal research using tools like Westlaw and LexisNexis to support case strategies Advise clients on estate planning, custody arrangements, alimony, property division, and other related issues Negotiate settlements that align with clients' best interests while fostering collaborative resolutions Maintain detailed case files and ensure compliance with all procedural requirements Stay current on evolving laws related to family law, immigration law, tribal law & regulations, and other relevant areas Requirements Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction Proven experience in family law practice with a strong understanding of litigation procedures Familiarity with legal research platforms such as Westlaw and LexisNexis for comprehensive case analysis Excellent writing skills for drafting clear legal documents and correspondence Strong negotiation abilities to achieve favorable outcomes for clients Knowledge of estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, landlord-tenant law, securities law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, patent law, and tribal law & regulations is a plus Legal administrative experience to efficiently manage case workflows and documentation
Pay:
$150,327.09 - $300,146.61 per year
