Job Description

Join Our Growing General Practice Law Firm We are a small, well-established general practice law firm seeking a motivated and personable Associate Attorney to join our team. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a recent law school graduate or attorney with up to three years of experience to develop a broad-based legal practice while receiving mentorship and direct client exposure. The successful candidate will focus primarily on estate planning/administration, family law, real estate, and civil litigation matters but will also have opportunities to handle transactional, business/corporate and tax matters, if desired. Responsibilities Meet directly with clients to identify legal needs and develop practical solutions. Prepare wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents. Assist clients and fiduciaries with probate and trust administration matters. Represent clients in family law matters, including divorce, custody, placement, support, and post-judgment proceedings. Draft and review real estate documents, including offers to purchase, deeds, land contracts, easements, and related agreements. Manage civil litigation matters from initial filing through resolution, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, negotiations, and court appearances. Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda, briefs, and other legal documents. Maintain regular communication with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and other professionals. Participate in business development and community involvement activities that support firm growth. Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school. Admission to practice law in Wisconsin, or eligibility for admission in Wisconsin. 0-3 years of legal experience. Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities. Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines effectively. Commitment to providing exceptional client service. Pay:
$60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
