Administrative Support Specialist Location:
Washington, DC (onsite at a federal building)
Clearance:
Must obtain a positive suitability determination for "Badge Only Access" (BAO)
Education/Experience:
BA/BS and 3+ years of relevant experience Harkcon is seeking an Administrative Support Specialist to support a federal program office in Washington, DC. This onsite role provides high-level administrative and operational support, including calendar and meeting coordination, correspondence management, records support, visitor access, and office operations. The role also supports domestic and foreign travel processing, including authorizations, vouchers, passports, visas, country clearances, and travel tracking. Duties include handling unclassified materials, maintaining document control and records systems, supporting mail and correspondence workflows, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders across government offices. Our workers are "part of the team" and expected to function as such within the client's environment. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree 3+ years of administrative support experience Ability to obtain suitability determination Strong Microsoft Office skills Experience supporting senior staff in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment Strong organizational, communication, and document management skills Ability to work onsite in Washington, DC Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting DOE, NNSA, DoD, or other federal agencies Experience with travel coordination, records management, correspondence control, or classified document handling Harkcon, Inc. is an is an Equal Opportunity-Affirmative Action Employer - Minority / Female / Disability / Veteran / Gender Identity / Sexual Orientation / Age
