Front Desk Clerk Orada Technology Solutions Washington, DC Job Details Full-time | Contract $20 - $21 an hour 21 hours ago Benefits Paid time off Qualifications Computer operation Microsoft Excel Administrative experience Legal administrative experience Clerical experience Full Job Description Orada Technology Solutions is a professional services company sseeking a reliable and detail-oriented Temporary General Clerk to support daily administrative and office operations within a professional legal and administrative environment. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in administrative support or legal assistant-related work and be comfortable handling front office coordination, document management, scheduling responsibilities, and public-facing communication. The selected candidate will support front desk operations, assist customers with program information, maintain data systems, and ensure accurate administrative tracking in accordance with established performance standards. This position requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and professionalism. Key Responsibilities Receive incoming telephone calls and office visitors Determine the nature of calls and inquiries and direct them appropriately Provide professional front-desk and administrative support Assist with receipt, sorting, and distribution of incoming mail Create, tab, organize, and maintain paper files, indexes, and supporting documentation Perform data entry and typing functions consistently using a personal computer Utilize all and any office equipment Coordinate with court reporters and external customers regarding telephone conferences, In-person hearings, and video hearings Initiate inquiries related to case processing activities Provide administrative support to the Supervisory Paralegal Specialist Communicate with members of the public, appellants, and legal representatives regarding: Maintain professionalism and confidentiality while handling sensitive information Greet and assist walk-in customers in a professional and courteous manner Answer and route phone calls promptly (within performance standards) Maintain workshop schedules and register participants Generate usage reports using Microsoft Excel Assist customers with basic computer usage questions Perform minor troubleshooting on printers and scanners Maintain and catalog reference materials Develop and distribute monthly event calendars Prepare and assemble workshop materials Maintain an organized and professional work environment Preferred Qualifications Prior experience supporting legal, government, or administrative hearing environments 2-4 years of experience in an administrative support, clerical, or legal assistant-related role Experience coordinating schedules and hearings Familiarity with records management and case-processing support What We're Looking For Reliable and punctual Comfortable working in a structured, process-driven environment Professional when communicating with external parties Able to maintain confidentiality and handle documentation carefully Compensation $20.00 - 21.00 per hour Full-time position How to Apply Please submit your resume detailing relevant experience.
