Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Legal Specialist to support a fast-paced, high-volume legal office environment in Washington, DC. This temp-to-hire opportunity is ideal for a professional with office services, print production, mailroom, or document support experience who enjoys working in a client-facing legal setting. In this role, you will provide essential onsite support to attorneys, paralegals, and legal staff through document production, mailroom operations, shipping and receiving, and general office coordination. - Operate high-volume copiers, printers, scanners, and finishing equipment for legal document production, copying, binding, OCR processing, and file conversion.
- Sort, distribute, process, and deliver incoming and outgoing mail, packages, office supplies, and shipping materials.
- Maintain quality control for print jobs, document formatting, file naming, production logs, meter readings, and billing documentation.
- Provide professional customer service to attorneys, paralegals, and legal staff by responding to service requests and job status inquiries.
- Support office services functions including reception coverage, meeting room setups, supply inventory, service area organization, and light facilities tasks.
- Coordinate copier maintenance, troubleshoot basic equipment issues, and follow confidentiality standards for legal document handling. Compensation and Benefits
