0-10% Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a
MEDIA SUPPORT SPECIALIST
supporting the 96 Test Wing contract under our Air Force Division located at
EGLIN AFB, FL
. The Media Support Specialist supports the 96th Range Control Squadron by scheduling the squadron's mission support rooms and assets, managing support capability scheduling and availability conflicts, library management, and managing disposition of associated mission support materials.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in applicable discipline.
  • Substitution of experience for education will be considered with government approval.
  • 3-10 years' experience in administration and clerical functions.
  • Active Secret Clearance, or the ability to obtain one.
  • US citizen.
  • Self-starter who performs all functional duties independently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office products to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent verbal communication, written communication, customer interaction, and presentation skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform Central Control Facility (CCF) scheduling activities including resource assignments, conflict resolution, and processing and communicating schedule change requests.
  • Perform clerical functions such as preparing correspondence, receiving visitors, and arranging conference calls.
  • Schedule and track meetings as required.
  • Ensure mission rooms are secured at end of business day, delegating responsibility as required.
  • Conduct research and prepare non-technical statistical reports.
  • Perform Media Library management activities including identifying/documenting/controlling/scanning/downloading incoming mission media and receiving/logging/issuing/transferring outgoing mission media and data.
  • Manage and provide necessary documentation for requests for information.
  • Receive, coordinate and send packages at different levels of classification in support of CCF operations.
  • Support organizational process changes (or improvements).
  • Perform CCF finance charging activities including recording post-mission and real-time charges, managing product tracking.
  • Maintain Air Force and organizational publications.
