Full Job Description Overview:
A leading national homebuilder is seeking a detail-oriented Risk Audit Assistant to support its risk management team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong administrative or legal support background who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and wants to grow within risk, compliance, or audit functions.
What You'll Be Doing:
Assist in locating and gathering legal and claim-related documents (digital and physical) Organize and maintain case files within document management systems (e.g., Box) Compile documentation, identify missing items, and maintain detailed tracking logs Manage incoming and outgoing communications Coordinate with internal departments to retrieve and verify documentation Handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive information
What They're Looking For:
High school diploma required; some college or legal assistant training preferred 1-2 years of experience in a legal assistant, risk, compliance, audit, insurance, or administrative role Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel Excellent organizational and time management skills High attention to detail and accuracy Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to multitask, follow direction, and work both independently and as part of a team Experience with tools like Legal Tracker or iManage is a plus #IND2
Pay:
$20.00 - $27.00 per hour
