_ The mission of the Hampden District Attorney is to serve the people of Hampden County by faithfully pursuing criminal justice and ensuring public safety with ethics, integrity, and fairness as our guiding values. _

Essential Functions:
_
  • Provide administrative and office support to the Hampden District Attorney's Office
  • Handle all general clerical duties including, but not limited to, case file management, photocopying, printing, faxing, mailing, filing, etc.
  • Handle all data entry in the case management system. (DAMION)
  • Provide general support to visitors, and the public. _Qualifications_
  • Be organized, outgoing, energetic, and motivated;
  • Be proficient with Microsoft Office products (Word, Outlook ;)
  • Be familiar with and follow the provisions of the Hampden District Attorney's Office Personnel Policies;
  • Participate in trainings relevant to Office functions;
  • Interact in a respectful and professional manner with the public, judicial and law enforcement personnel and office staff;
  • Have excellent time management skills and have the ability to multi-task and prioritize work;
  • Possess a valid driver's license, as travel across Hampden County may be required;
  • Prior experience working in a professional office environment or experience with customer service is preferred; All full time positions offer a State benefit package that Includes health, life, disability, and dental/Vision Insurances, retirement plans, vacation, personal and sick leave and more.
Payroll is bi-weekly and based on a 37.5 hour work week. All Job offers are contingent upon successful completion of background check. All positions serve at the pleasure of the District Attorney.
