Reporting directly to the Assistant director of study abroad the Student Support Specialist II plays a key administrative role within the study abroad office The successful candidate will have demonstrated skills working with high volume data and excel spreadsheets. They will have good organizational skills and will be comfortable working with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
Areas of Support include:
Enrolling students in study abroad courses and ensuring correct processing of study abroad charges. Creating rosters and enrolling students in study abroad health insurance Assisting the study abroad team with study abroad reimbursement agreements. Working with faculty and staff on processing cash advances/ expenses claims Reviewing and Processing invoices Processing of credit card payment receipts Creating financial Planning worksheets for study abroad students for financial aid purposes. Managing program agreement database Working with client passport appointments Assisting study abroad advisors in collecting/collating data and documents involved in study abroad processes Serve as a back-up for the front desk Shift 8 am - 5 pm, M-F Minimum Qualifications A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary Preferred Qualifications The successful candidate will have three years' experience working in an office environment with proven analytical and problem-solving skills. They will have a high attention to detail with a strong background in Microsoft Office.
Anticipated Hiring Range Salary Range:
$17.95 - $23.37 hourly
