Duties will include:
Prepare, proofread, edit, and format legal documents, pleadings, correspondence, motions, contracts, and other legal materials. File documents electronically with federal and state courts (e-filing) and ensure compliance with court rules and filing deadlines. Organize, maintain, and update electronic and paper case files. Review documents for accuracy, completeness, grammar, formatting, and consistency. Coordinate document revisions and version control. Prepare exhibits, binders, and supporting documentation for hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials. Maintain document management systems and ensure proper indexing and retrieval of legal records. Assist attorneys and paralegals with document production and case preparation. Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion. Monitor deadlines and prioritize assignments to ensure timely completion. Communicate professionally with attorneys, court personnel, clients, and outside vendors as needed.
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in legal support capacity Experience in multiple practice areas, preferably in a defense litigation environment Advanced MSOffice skills with ability to learn new software as needed High degree of accuracy and attention to detail Familiarity with electronic filing procedures and court requirements Experience using document management systems Proven commitment to customer service and a positive, service-first attitude Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with all organizational levels Able to follow detailed instructions
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
