Starting Salary Range:
$46,176 - $52,000 The State Corporation Commission (“SCC” or “Commission”) seeks a candidate who enjoys working in a fast-paced, high-volume processing environment to join its Division of Securities and Retail Franchising. This Administrative Specialist position is 1 of 5 administrative staff supporting SRF’s 42 examiners, investigators, and auditors and will primarily provide support to SRF’s examination section. This position offers a hybrid work schedule (generally 3 days of telework, 2 days in the office per week) as well as professional development and training opportunities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the Administrative Specialist include the following: • Maintaining a heavy volume of SRF's registration files, to include setting up initial applications to register or exempt securities and to register, exempt, amend, or renew franchises. • Assigning files to SRF examiners. • Logging all fines, penalties, and payments into the SCC’s Case Management system. • Obtaining copies of pertinent orders and entering data into the Case management system. • Corresponding with applicants and the general public. • Processing Notice Filing applications for Federally Exempt securities. • Verifying payment of the proper fee and compliance with the provisions of securities and franchise rules and updating the appropriate computer records for entities. • Entering check and ACH payments into the Division's electronic systems. • Organizing amendment filings. • Performing other related tasks, including but not limited to: sorting and distributing incoming mail daily, archiving old files, and verifying and processing check and ACH fee payments.
