OCCU is seeking an Indirect Lending Support Specialist to join our Titles team in Eugene, Oregon. This is an on-site position offering a pay range of $22.50 to $27.00 per hour. Spanish-speaking candidates who pass a standardized test receive an additional $2 per hour. The Indirect Lending Support Specialist provides comprehensive clerical and processing support across Indirect Lending, Loan Servicing, Titles, and Remote Lending, ensuring accurate, timely completion of tasks to deliver exceptional dealer and member service. This role serves as a key safeguard against fraud by reviewing documentation, verifying identification and account information, and resolving red flags. Responsibilities include processing titles, returned mail, refund checks, GAP claims and refunds, loan modifications, check disbursements, applications from multiple channels, and website inquiries, as well as balancing general ledger accounts. The specialist also acts as a liaison with GAP administrators, conducts loan research, coordinates with members, vendors, and financial institutions, and manages reports and claims from initiation through completion. Candidates need at least six months of clerical and processing support experience in lending. The ability to work both independently and collaboratively, exercising discretion and sound judgment in decision-making and problem-solving, is essential. Applicants should demonstrate proficiency in computer-based data entry and information compilation, including the use of Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, and credit union systems. Professionalism and courteous communication skills are required.
