401(k) Competitive salary Paid time off Senior Bankruptcy Specialist Diana Diaz & Associates (DDA) New Jersey | Full-Time | On-Site / Hybrid Depending on Experience Position Overview Diana Diaz & Associates is seeking a highly experienced Senior Bankruptcy Specialist to support high-volume consumer bankruptcy and financial restructuring operations in a fast-paced professional environment. This role requires a candidate with advanced technical knowledge of bankruptcy case preparation, court systems, procedural workflows, and client coordination. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, capable of managing complex case activity independently, and comfortable working directly with clients and court-related systems. The Senior Bankruptcy Specialist will play a critical role in case preparation, workflow oversight, document management, client communication, and operational support throughout the lifecycle of consumer bankruptcy matters. Key Responsibilities Prepare and organize bankruptcy-related case files and supporting documentation Draft petitions, schedules, statements, amendments, and related filing packages using Best Case and related platforms Manage case workflows from intake through post-filing administration Coordinate directly with clients regarding documentation requests, timelines, deficiencies, and case updates Review financial documents including tax returns, paystubs, bank statements, budgets, and creditor information for completeness and accuracy Navigate and monitor
PACER, CM/ECF
systems, trustee portals, and court dockets Maintain procedural deadlines and filing timelines with a high level of accuracy Utilize MyCase and Microsoft Office Suite for workflow management, reporting, scheduling, and communication Support communication coordination between clients, trustees, courts, and affiliated professionals Handle escalated client situations with professionalism and discretion Assist with operational workflow improvements and internal process management Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive financial information Train and support junior staff members when necessary Required Qualifications Minimum 5+ years of bankruptcy-related experience in a high-volume environment Extensive hands-on experience with: Best Case

filing systems MyCase Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) Strong understanding of Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 workflows and procedures Experience preparing bankruptcy petitions and supporting documentation Ability to independently manage multiple active matters simultaneously Strong organizational and deadline-management skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Professional client-facing experience High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a deadline-driven environment Preferred Qualifications Experience working with New Jersey bankruptcy courts and trustees Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred Experience in high-volume bankruptcy operations Familiarity with workflow automation and document management systems Leadership or team training experience preferred Ideal Candidate Traits Extremely detail-oriented Technically proficient Organized and efficient Client-service driven Able to work independently Calm under pressure Solutions-oriented High level of accountability and professionalism Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Growth and advancement opportunities PTO and paid holidays Collaborative professional environment Long-term career opportunity with a growing organization Flexible work from home options available.
