Job Description

Required Education:
  • High School Diploma or EquivalentRequired Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
  • Proficiency in filing, data entry, and managing paperwork
  • Experience maintaining and updating legal or correctional records accurately
  • Ensuring records reflect accurate information and tracking infractions that affect parole or good time
  • Ability to correspond professionally with internal departments and out-of-state legal partners
  • Capable of tracking progress reports and managing multiple tasks efficiently
  • Understanding of handling sensitive legal and personal information securely
Preferred Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
  • Experience in
Corrections, Legal, or Government Agencies:
Especially in parole, probation, or inmate records
  • Prior Work in a
Clerical or Administrative Role:
Ideally within a legal or criminal justice setting
  • Knowledge of the
Criminal Justice System:
Particularly parole processes and inmate behavior tracking
Correctional Records Specialist Job Responsibilities:
  • Clerical Duties, filing, processing, and tracking progress reports
  • Handling all parole-related matters
  • Monitoring any infractions affecting good time
  • Communicating with our records unit to ensure the record is reflected accurately
  • Responding to inquiries from out-of-state partners on any legal matters
  • Records management
