Job Description

Position Summary:
Legal Interns are part-time, temporary personnel that learn about law office operations by performing various duties in assistance to multiple administrative and legal support positions. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and eager to gain practical exposure in a professional legal environment. Position will report to the Office Administrator or a designated supervisor.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with office initiatives (special projects, charitable efforts, community activities, etc.) Perform general administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, scanning, and data entry Maintain and organize client files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date Assist in organizing legal documents, including contracts, templates, and transaction files, improving team efficiency and retrieval time Assist in maintaining and updating corporate governance and compliance documentation Utilize Microsoft Office and document management systems to streamline knowledge-sharing workflows Collaborate with attorneys and business teams to gather and verify information Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive business and legal information Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
Currently enrolled in (or recently graduated from) a JD program or pursuing a degree in legal studies, business law, or a related field Strong research, writing, and analytical skills Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and professionalism Various physical activity may be required
