Minimum Qualifications To be considered, applicants must: Pass a criminal background check Meet one of the following requirements: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; OR Four (4) years of experience in the legal field; OR Four (4) years of collections experience Position Summary This position performs child support enforcement activities, including locating absent parents, establishing paternity, enforcing court-ordered child support obligations, and assisting customers with child support-related inquiries. Key Responsibilities Conduct investigations to locate parents, verify employment, and identify assets Prepare legal and administrative documents related to child support cases Monitor and manage child support cases Negotiate payment arrangements and lump-sum collections Respond to customer inquiries and complaints Maintain accurate case documentation and electronic records Assist legal staff during court proceedings as needed Review cases for appropriate enforcement actions or closure Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information Comply with agency policies, procedures, ethics, and integrity standards Required Skills Strong communication and customer service skills Effective interviewing and negotiation abilities Computer proficiency, including data entry and document preparation Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines Sound judgment and decision-making skills Ability to work effectively in a professional office environment Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university Experience in investigations or child support enforcement Ability to read, write, and speak Spanish Physical and Work Requirements Ability to travel for business-related purposes Ability to work overtime as needed Ability to lift up to 30 pounds Our State-Set-Aside contracts require us to maintain a 75%-25% ratio.
