Detains anyone suspected of a dishonest act and escorts them to the Security Office; prepares reports pertaining to security incidents; ghers facts and evidence; and maintains close liaison with law enforcement authorities. May be required to appear and testify in court or hearings concerning security cases. Studies inventory losses and conducts inquiries as required, in high shortage areas. Reviews merchandise periodically to ensure proper pricing. Will assist in the preventive maintenance of various electronic asset control systems and surveillance equipment to include closed circuit television, audio, hardwired, and wireless systems. Assist with the installion and maintenance of surveillance equipment to include delivery and site preparion. Assist in upding dabases for security files system parts and supplies. Investiges mters reling to security such as customer losses, illegal identificion cards, unauthorized pron entry and reports of theft or vandalism against MCCS facilities. Investiges persons on returned check list. May accompany cash runs, verifying money received. Verifies money transferred for vending machines. Reviews closing cash register report. Provides World Class Customer Service with an emphasis on courtesy. Assists customers and communices positively in a friendly manner. Takes action to solve problems quickly. Alerts the higher-level supervisor, or proper point of contact for help when problems arise. Adheres to safety regulions and standards. Promptly reports any observed workplace hazards, and any injury, occupional illness, and/or property damage resulting from workplace mishaps to the immedie supervisor. Adheres to established standards of actively supporting the principles of the EEO program and prevention of sexual harassment. Performs other reled duties as assigned. EVALUATIONS

Qualificions A minimum of one year of experience in security, retail, or customer service techniques and methods. Have good communicion and analytical skills. This is a white-collar position where occasional lifting up to 20 lbs may be required. May perform work th poses physical demands beyond normal requirements. Must demonstre alertness, integrity and be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance (Tier 3).
