Denver, CO Job Details Full-time $54.00 - $58.75 an hour 16 hours ago Qualifications Asset Protection Criminal Justice High school diploma or GED Case management Attention to detail Criminal investigation Loss prevention Full Job Description Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Asset Protection Auditor / Specialist to support loss prevention initiatives across multiple locations. This role is responsible for conducting investigations, performing audits, ensuring compliance with company policies and implementing asset protection programs. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in investigations, audits, fraud prevention and retail asset protection while collaborating with operational leadership to reduce risk and improve security practices. Major Duties & Responsibilities Conduct investigations involving suspected internal and external theft, fraud and other security-related incidents. Perform operational and compliance audits to identify risks and opportunities for improvement. Support asset protection programs including shrink reduction, fraud prevention, physical security and policy compliance. Analyze investigation findings and prepare detailed reports with recommendations. Partner with management to implement corrective actions and reduce operational losses. Provide coaching and training on asset protection policies, procedures and best practices. Ensure compliance with company policies, operational standards and security procedures. Conduct business evaluations and identify areas for operational improvement. Investigate Organized Retail Crime (ORC) activities and assist with case development and resolution. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Human Resources and leadership to resolve security concerns. Monitor physical security systems including alarms, surveillance equipment and electronic security devices. Maintain accurate documentation and confidential records throughout all investigations and audits. Knowledge & Skills Strong investigative and interviewing skills. Experience conducting operational, financial, or compliance audits. Knowledge of retail asset protection, fraud prevention, and loss prevention practices. Familiarity with physical security systems, surveillance equipment, alarms, and access control. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple investigations and priorities simultaneously. High attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and report documentation. Experience Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred. Minimum 6 years of audit experience. Minimum 6 years of investigative experience with successful case management and closure. At least 2 years of Asset Protection or Loss Prevention supervisory experience preferred. Experience handling fraud investigations, compliance audits, and organized retail crime investigations is highly preferred. Education High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Business, Finance, or a related field preferred. #4002
