Hotel Security- Overnight

Job Summary We are looking for an energetic and vigilant Hotel Security Associate to oversee overnight security operations at our property. In this vital role, you will ensure the safety and security of guests, staff, and property by monitoring premises, managing access points, and responding swiftly to incidents. Your proactive approach will help maintain a secure, welcoming atmosphere throughout the night shift. The hours will be Thursday to Monday 9 pm - 5 am. Duties Monitor hotel premises using CCTV systems and conduct regular surveillance checks to identify potential security threats Control access to the hotel by verifying guest and visitor identities, ensuring only authorized individuals enter restricted areas Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies, including medical emergencies, conflicts, or safety hazards Conduct routine patrols of all hotel areas, including hallways, entrances, parking lots, and service zones Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency responders when necessary to resolve incidents effectively Maintain detailed incident reports, shift logs, and surveillance records for accountability and review Enforce hotel policies related to loss prevention, guest safety, and conflict management Qualifications Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service or related fields is highly desirable Knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV and familiarity with loss prevention techniques Certifications in first aid and CPR are preferred; willingness to obtain if not already certified Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure Ability to stand, walk, and remain alert during overnight shifts for extended periods Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and interaction with guests and team members Join us in creating a safe haven for our guests while building your career in hospitality security. Pay:

$21.00 - $23.00 per hour
