Responsible for overall security inside and outside of the Thrift Store. Maintain an active presence on the sales floor by conducting frequent circulations of the premises. Observe and report any unusual behaviors of potential areas of conflict between donors and shoppers and report it to supervisors. Communicate emergency situations in timely manner to Manager and co-workers. Notify Manager when law enforcement officers and/or fire department, EMS personnel are called to location. Document unusual activity, vandalism, maintenance concerns, injuries and medical concerns as needed. Notify appropriate supervisor as necessary. Monitor and maintain grounds and perimeters of facility. Work successfully and in unity with store personnel. Support the mission statement of The Salvation Army.

Education & Experience:

High school Diploma and experience in loss prevention preferred.

Supervisory Responsibility:

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
