Unarmed Security Guard / Loss Prevention - Skokie, IL

Job description Unarmed security guard flex or part time depending on your availability. May vary in location. Candidate is required to travel and have a reliable transportation and have open availability (morning and afternoons). We schedule 1st and 2nd shifts.

Primary Responsibilities:

Protecting the assets of the client by detecting and when possible safely apprehending individuals attempting to deprive the client of merchandise in accordance with company policy. Effectively investigate loss in order to case build and prosecute when the appropriate criteria are met. Effectively maintain an undercover presence at your assigned location.

Requirements:

Must be professional, able to work independently, possess sound judgement under pressure and have the ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally. High School diploma or GED Eligibility to work in the U.S. Active PERC card required. Successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screen. Must be flexible and willing to work weekends. Must be able to travel between locations when needed. Must be able to attend any and all court dates. Must be able to provide excellent customer service to our client/customers. Must be able to work with confidential and sensitive information Proficiency in CCTV systems preferred. Proficiency in floor walking preferred. Retail uniformed or Loss Prevention experience preferred.
