Asset Protection Team Lead- 3rd Shift Lenexa - 4.0 Lenexa, KS Job Details Full-time $22.75 - $34.50 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Health savings account Paid holidays Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Flexible spending account Paid time off Parental leave Employee assistance program Vision insurance 401(k) matching Employee discount Flexible schedule Life insurance Retirement plan Qualifications Computer operation Asset Protection Guard Card Attention to detail Patrolling Training & development Full Job Description The SC Asset Protect Team Lead will support and assist Supply Chain Asset Protection Manager with day-to-day training, scheduling, and leading their assigned shift of Asset Protection Officers (APO) in the absence of the Asset Protection Management .
Primary Responsibilities:
- Maintains the staffing and execution of processes at the Facility on their shift
- Works with the Asset Protection Team to provide Asset Protection awareness and education as directed by the APM throughout the Facility
- Ensure effective verbal communication channels are maintained with APOs and AP management
- Assist in the development and execution of training for APOs
- Implements various shortage control measures designed to develop leads for investigations as well as deter theft
- Provides leadership to team members by discussing various shrinkage topics in department start-up meetings
- Utilizes the CCTV system to monitor activities inside and outside the Facility
- Conducts patrol activity inside and outside the Facility to detect unsafe conditions, physical security risks or occurrences, theft risks or incidents, and shrinkage risks and incidents

- A "people person", someone that can engage and interact with hourly employees and management alike
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to stand and/or walk for more than 4 hours, climb stairs, and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
- Computer literacy (including, but not limited to: MS Office and email)
- Ability to work in adverse weather conditions
