Job Summary Signal of South Coast is actively seeking proactive and professional Security Officers for bar, nightlife, and event venue security throughout the Cape Cod region, including Hyannis, Wareham, and surrounding areas.

In this role, you will provide a strong, visible presence while ensuring a safe and controlled environment for guests, staff, and property. This is a fast-paced position ideal for individuals who excel in high-energy environments and are confident in handling crowd management and conflict resolution.

Responsibilities Provide a visible security presence at bars, clubs, and event venues Monitor crowd activity and identify potential safety or security concerns Perform ID checks and access control at entry points Conduct routine patrols of assigned areas to maintain order and safety Respond quickly to disturbances, incidents, or emergencies using de-escalation techniques Enforce venue policies and procedures in a professional and consistent manner Assist with crowd control during peak hours and special events Maintain communication with team members, supervisors, and venue staff Complete detailed incident reports and daily activity logs Support loss prevention efforts and protect property from theft or damage Requirements Previous experience in security, hospitality, military, or law enforcement preferred Strong communication and conflict resolution skills Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations Comfortable working in busy nightlife and event environments Reliable transportation required Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work assigned shifts Preferred Qualifications Experience in bar, nightclub, or event security CPR / First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain) Familiarity with CCTV systems and security technology Strong situational awareness and attention to detail Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to work in crowded, loud, and fast-paced environments Maintain a professional appearance and uniform standards at all times Why Join Signal of South Coast Competitive pay based on role and assignment Flexible scheduling opportunities Work at high-energy venues and events across Cape Cod Opportunity for growth within the company Be part of a team focused on professionalism, safety, and presence Base pay: $25 / hour
