This position is on-site at our office in Minneapolis, MN.Position Summary:
As an entry level Insurance and Loss Prevention Specialist at Fourteen Foods, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our assets, team members, and customers. You will be responsible for efficiently triaging tickets, retrieving video footage, documenting pertinent information, analyzing POS data for trends, offering policy and procedures support, and effectively communicating findings to various operational teams. This role serves as a vital link between our Loss Prevention department and the broader organization, helping to mitigate risks and prevent losses.Essential Functions:
- Workers Compensation and General Liability Case Management Responsible for working directly with insurance adjusters, nurse triage, multiple departments and team members to process claims.
- Video Footage Retrieval and Analyzation Analyze footage to provide direction and feedback on potential loss. Retrieve surveillance video footage in response to Loss Prevention, Workers Compensation and General Liability incidents. Identify key timestamps and relevant video segments related to each case. Maintain an organized database of video footage for future reference.
- Ticket Triage Prioritize and manage incoming Loss Prevention tickets and incidents. Assess the urgency and severity of each case and allocate resources accordingly. Ensure all relevant information is captured in the initial incident report.
- Communication Provide feedback and direction on Loss related incidents to support Operations and HR. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operations and HR, to communicate findings and coordinate necessary actions. Provide timely updates and reports to the Director, Loss Prevention and other relevant stakeholders.
- POS Data Analysis Analyze Point of Sale (POS) data to identify trends and patterns related to potential losses or policy violations.
Experience & Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in criminal justice or related field is a plus Familiarity with Workers Compensation and/or General Liability Insurance laws and practices Basic knowledge of surveillance systems and software Strong attention to detail and analytical skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures Integrity and a commitment to upholding ethical standardsCompetencies:
Organizational, planning, and time management skills Communication skills, both verbal and written Problem analysis and problem-solving expertise Working knowledge of Quick Serve Restaurant (QSR) Attention to detail and accuracy.
