Job Description
Central Electric Cooperative is seeking a Safety & Loss Control Administrator to help lead and support company-wide safety initiatives. This role is responsible for coordinating safety programs, promoting compliance, supporting training, and helping reduce organizational risk through proactive loss control efforts. What You'll Do
- Coordinate and support the cooperative's safety program in alignment with OSHA requirements and related standards.
- Conduct safety inspections, field visits, and accident investigations.
- Organize and support the safety committee while serving as a key safety resource.
- Help maintain safe work practices, procedures, and safety documentation, including the safety manual.
- Administer hazardous materials processes and support safety orientation for new employees and contractors.
- Identify, plan, and coordinate safety-related training initiatives.
- Support loss control efforts, including workers' compensation and property loss matters, as directed.
- Assist with budgeting, records retention, and continuous improvement of safety programs. What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in safety or a related field.
- Safety certification(s) are a plus.
- Two or more years of related experience is preferred.
- Valid PA Driver's License is required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organization and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
