Job Description

Central Electric Cooperative is seeking a Safety & Loss Control Administrator to help lead and support company-wide safety initiatives. This role is responsible for coordinating safety programs, promoting compliance, supporting training, and helping reduce organizational risk through proactive loss control efforts. What You'll Do
  • Coordinate and support the cooperative's safety program in alignment with OSHA requirements and related standards.
  • Conduct safety inspections, field visits, and accident investigations.
  • Organize and support the safety committee while serving as a key safety resource.
  • Help maintain safe work practices, procedures, and safety documentation, including the safety manual.
  • Administer hazardous materials processes and support safety orientation for new employees and contractors.
  • Identify, plan, and coordinate safety-related training initiatives.
  • Support loss control efforts, including workers' compensation and property loss matters, as directed.
  • Assist with budgeting, records retention, and continuous improvement of safety programs. What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in safety or a related field.
  • Safety certification(s) are a plus.
  • Two or more years of related experience is preferred.
  • Valid PA Driver's License is required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality

Pay:
$80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
