Are you looking to launch your career in the security industry? Jack Henry is seeking an entry-level Asset Protection Administrator for our Allen Data Center. In this role, you will provide critical security support through systems monitoring and physical security protocols. This position offers a clear path for professional growth within a high-tech infrastructure environment. This role provides 24/7 coverage so nights and weekends are required. This position will be located on site at our Allen, TX data center location. The salary range for this position is $30,500 - $40,500 and will be determined based on location and experience level. This position All positions, regardless of location, may require an onsite interview or in-person onboarding requirement to verify your identity. What you'll be responsible for:
- Monitors multiple corporate security systems including but not limited to intrusion, fire, and BAS systems.
- Creates work orders for requests and tracks the work order to ensure a timely and accurate resolution.
- Responds to requests for access.
- May process daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- May conduct foot patrols of company property to maintain employee safety, identify potential hazards and unsecured openings.
- May perform other job duties as assigned. What you'll need to have:
- Minimum of 6 months' professional work experience.
- Must have a valid drivers license and the ability to drive company owned security vehicles.
- Ability to walk up to 5 miles during the course of a work shift and lift up to 25 pounds. What would be nice for you to have:
- Experience in law enforcement, military, asset protection or physical security.
- Ability to travel up to 10% for team meetings, trainings, and conferences.
- Learning to use professional concepts; works on problems of limited scope. Follows defined procedures and practices with little deviation.
- Able to understand, on a basic level, how all critical infrastructure systems operate and interconnect.
- Able to assess the severity of system notifications and respond appropriately to ensure safety and security of all employees and property.
- Must be detail-oriented and able to follow detailed instructions.
- Able to understand multiple security systems and platforms.
- Able to use computers to successfully perform the job.
