Dupuis, LLC is seeking a legal assistant/paralegal to join our office. The successful candidate will provide assistance during all phases of the litigation process. Job Duties include but are not limited to: Answering phone calls, screening potential clients, greeting clients at the office, mail and document handling, and file management both electronic and paper form. Regular communication with clients by phone and email. Drafting, proofreading, serving, and filing legal documents and subpoenas. Aid attorney with gathering financial information from client and financial institutions and organizing other relevant discovery. Coordinating with attorney and clients for trial. Assist in trial preparation, organizing exhibits and other relevant documents. Applicant requirements include high school diploma, Microsoft Office proficiency, working knowledge of office management/billing software programs. Successful applicant will have strong communication skills with attention to detail and be highly organized with ability to juggle multiple deadlines. Compensation DOE. Hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm with option for flexible scheduling. Please provide a brief cover letter, resume, and two professional references.
