Job Description

Small and growing estate planning, probate, and elder law firm in need of an amazing paralegal for drafting documents and maintaining great client relationship in a fast-paced, client-centered, tech-heavy law firm. Don't worry if you know nothing about the law! We only practice 3 areas! You will be caught up to speed in no time! What we need is a team member with high attention to detail. Preference is given to applicants with a background in customer service (former waiter or waitress staff is highly encouraged to apply). This position is full-time for our Sherwood office. Minimal travel will occur between two other offices in Searcy and Benton. Work environment is extremely supportive, drama-free, professional, and positive. Initial compensation is based upon current skill/experience and reevaluated periodically based on improvement/value/proficiency.
Essential Job Functions:
Dynamite Customer Service Multi-tasking Document Drafting•Attention to Detail Scanning and filing documents electronically Daily interaction with clients Daily interaction with insurance companies, attorneys, and other professionals Maintaining tasks and responsibilities within a caseload Must be able to work in a team environment Organizes priorities and structures work flow Maintain minimum level of cases and client contact
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Ability to work without close supervision Ability to provide excellent customer service Excellent communication skills Work well under pressure and with deadlines Ability to adapt well to change and adjust appropriately Responds promptly to client needs Maintains confidentiality Demonstrate accuracy, thoroughness, and attention to detail Knowledge of law firm policies and procedures Exhibit sound and accurate judgment Manage competing demands
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum 1•3 years of legal/professional services preferred OR Minimum 1•3 years customer service experience Excellent computer skills / typing skills Equipment Used in
