401(k) Health insurance Paid time off Bonus based on performance Competitive salary Dental insurance Transactional Law Paralegal Business, Real Estate & Contracts | Small Law Firm We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transactional Law Paralegal to join our small law firm in midtown Phoenix on Central Avenue near Thomas Road. This role is designed for a senior‑level paralegal capable of independently handling substantive transactional matters in a fast‑paced environment, while working collaboratively and taking direction from attorneys and peers. We are looking for a candidate who not only has the skills and experience necessary for the position, but who will also fit in well with our close-knit, family-like environment.
Responsibilities & Experience Requirements Contracts:
Experience reviewing, drafting, and revising commercial contracts with demonstrated experience in lease agreements, consultant agreements, management agreements, contractor agreements, and NDAs. Ability to identify risk issues, inconsistencies, and missing terms for attorney review. Business Entities (LLCs & Corporations): Hands‑on experience with formation, governance, funding, and ongoing maintenance of LLCs and corporations, particularly operating entities with employees. This includes drafting governance documents, records maintenance, management matters, creditor protection, insurance, operations, employment‑related documentation, licensing, registration, accounting, taxation, and internal policies and procedures.
Bonus:
Experience with nonprofit entities and governance.
Real Estate:
Proven experience reviewing and drafting deeds, title commitments and policies, and acquisition and disposition documents. Experience supporting real estate due diligence, closings, and post‑closing matters, with general knowledge of property management, leasing, repair and maintenance, licensing, and real estate taxation issues.
Accounting & Tax:
Working knowledge of accounting‑related documents, including financial statements, and experience/knowledge of individual, partnership, and corporate income tax returns and tax‑related materials.
Bonus:
Experience with estate and/or fiduciary income tax returns. Qualifications 5+ years of transactional paralegal experience in a law firm environment. Strong experience across contracts, business entities, and real estate transactions. Team player with the ability to take direction from attorneys and peers. Comfortable handling a fast‑paced environment and multiple priorities. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. Ethical, loyal, focused, and dependable . Excellent oral and written communication skills . Ability to work independently while exercising sound judgment.
