The firm focuses on car accident, slip and fall, and wrongful death cases, and is seeking 1 full-time litigation paralegal.
Compensation:
- $75,000 +
Bonus Qualifications, Responsibilities, Skills/Requirements:
In order to adequately perform the tasks requested, this position will require the candidate to possess the following qualifications, responsibilities, and skills/requirements:Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience with Plaintiff Personal Injury cases as a litigation paralegal
- In-depth knowledge of Arizona court rules and procedures
- In-depth knowledge of Arizona ECF and AZTurboCourt e-filing systems
- Ability to draft pleadings and discovery requests
- Experience with e-discovery software
- Bilingual in Spanish (preferred but not required)
- Extremely proficient in handling the below Responsibilities
- Possess the below
Skills/Requirements Responsibilities:
- Draft pleadings, motions, memorandums, legal documents, legal correspondence, and exhibits
- Prepare court filings and perform filing, e-filing, service, and mailing of pleadings, documents, correspondence and courtesy copies
- Draft discovery requests and responses, obtain documents and information responsive to discovery requests, organize documents for production, and perform e-discovery
- Thoroughly organize documents for supervising attorney review and case preparation
- Thoroughly organize and index client files
- Prepare arbitration and mediation binders
- Prepare for trials by organizing exhibits, witness materials, the trial notebook, and all other supporting documents
- Docket/maintain an accurate calendar for supervising attorney for hearing dates and filing deadlines
- Draft and file correspondence to clients, medical providers, and opposing counsel
- Thoroughly maintain client records, logging events and progress in firm's case management system, and updating attorney with bi-weekly case progress

- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Strong ability to simultaneously work on multiple tasks, with ability to function in a fast pace, independent work environment
- Strong time management skills with ability to prioritize tasks and timely meet strict deadlines
