SENIOR LITIGATION AND TRIAL PARALEGAL

Pay:

$85,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year Full Time in-the -office Litigation Paralegal with minimum five (5) years litigation experience sought for boutique rapidly growing law firm, specializing in business litigation, with an emphasis on partnership, corporate, and shareholder disputes, as well as transactional work catering to our clients' diverse needs. We also provide a comprehensive suite of business legal services. As a crucial member of our team, you'll work closely with the owner and attorneys, supporting our mission, and aiding our clients through challenging times, ensuring they emerge better positioned and fully supported by a devoted team. We require a skilled paralegal, who needs no hand-holding, and can hit the ground running, with minimal supervision. This is a F/T 40 hour, in-the-office, workweek. Compensation DOE, with room for growth, plus bonus potential for demonstrable profitability. Responsibilities Case Management & Litigation Support Manage litigation cases in both federal and state court systems, including e-filing Demonstrate a strong work ethic and maintain reliable, consistent availability Assist attorneys with all aspects of case management and pre-trial preparation Support attorneys and manage heavy workloads Manage multiple tasks independently and proactively Legal Research, Drafting & Discovery Conduct legal research, prepare for trial, and provide trial support Prepare and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents, including propounding and responding to written discovery Handle all aspects of discovery, including processing and following up on subpoenas, and coordinate depositions, including scheduling court reporters, videographers, and interpreters. Review, analyze, and organize document productions from opposing parties Assemble document chronologies and redact sensitive information Trial Preparation & Expert Coordination Assist in trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, pre-trial documents, trial notebooks Organize and prepare materials for expert witness review Communication & Collaboration Maintain regular communication with clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel Communicate effectively within a collaborative team environment Organization & Document Management Organize documents, correspondence, and case files in an efficient and accessible format Use document management systems effectively Coordinate and maintain attorney calendars, deadlines, meetings, and depositions Assist attorneys with all aspects of case management and pre-trial preparation Support multiple attorneys and manage heavy workloads Manage multiple tasks independently and proactively Demonstrate a strong work ethic and maintain reliable, consistent availability Qualifications Minimum 5 years of litigation paralegal experience Trial preparation and attendance experience Experience in business litigation preferred Paralegal certificate required Must be based in California High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel Proficiency in legal research platforms such as LexisNexis, Westlaw, CEB, and other relevant legal or case management software.
