ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
include: Fully screen intake calls Persistently monitor all potential new client inquiries (email, internet, phone and referrals) Immediately contact every potential client and establish relationship with client Follow up with pending inquiries Update logs and reporting systems to reflect status of all potential new clients Conduct potential new client interviews with genuine empathy and compassion Schedule appointments for potential clients (if necessary) Take accurate notes during the attorney-client initial consultation Collaborate with our attorneys to complete the initial consultation process Assist attorneys with administrative tasks related to opening new cases and maintaining databases Follow instructions from the supervising attorney and perform according
  • Performing general clerical duties including but not limited to court filings, process service, requesting personnel files, photocopying, faxing, and mailing.
  • Must have good computer knowledge and internet knowledge.
  • Must be very good at paying attention to details and have good typing skills.
  • Communicate with clients by phone and email to provide timely status updates.
  • Answering and controlling multi-line phone system
  • Scanning, data entry and logging case documents into electronic document management system
  • Provide coverage for the receptionist during breaks on a rotating basis.
  • Greeting clients and other visitors. Must have great customer service.
  • Prepare witness, discovery, pleading, and trial exhibit binders for oral argument, mediations, and depositions.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Coordinating and scheduling meetings
  • Demonstrates exceptional communication skills.
Qualifications:
Ability to switch gears quickly and think on your feet. Follows instructions and understands the importance of policies & procedures. Generates creative solutions to workplace problems. A go-getter with a strong work ethic. Legal experience is a plus, but not necessary. The candidate must be able to work independently and with others, multi-task, have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and have experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Adobe.
