Legal Team Assistant / Legal Secretary - Financial Services San Francisco, CA | Hybrid We are partnering with a growing law firm in San Francisco seeking an experienced Legal Team Assistant / Legal Secretary to support a Financial Services Partner and assist a collaborative legal team within a newly expanding office. This opportunity is ideal for someone with strong legal administrative experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has a strong background in client billing and attorney support .
Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to attorneys and legal teams
  • Handle extensive client billing, billing revisions, and coordination with the billing team
  • Manage attorney calendars, scheduling, and time entry
  • Draft, edit, and proofread legal correspondence and documents
  • Coordinate travel, expense reports, meetings, and events
  • Communicate with clients, counsel, and internal teams
  • Support multiple attorneys and assist with team coverage as needed
Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of Legal Assistant / Legal Secretary experience within a law firm environment
  • Strong billing experience required; complex billing experience strongly preferred
  • Experience supporting multiple attorneys and managing competing priorities
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Systems experience with iManage, Aderant, iTimekeep/Carpe Diem, Concur, CRM platforms, and MS Office preferred
